This Week's Welcome

July 2, 2015

Woohoo!  School is out for the summer!  WOHOO!  Sean brought flowers to his teacher and principal, which was entirely his own idea. So adorable.

We were supposed to camp down at Diggerland this weekend, but the power was knocked out in the area due to a storm. So Jim took the boys camping at a nearby park, and we were able to play at QUASSY!!! YAY! You can see my review in this week's newsletter and some video and pictures posted on Facebook.

We are very much looking forward to visiting again this weekend.  They have the 3D fireworks which were awesome last year.  This year I think we'll pace ourselves instead of having the kids at the park for 11 hours like last year. HA!

Enjoy the start to your summer and have a great week in Putnam County!

Small Print: We do our best to have up-do-date and accurate information.  However, we highly recommend you contact the venue prior to departure to ensure the event is happening as originally scheduled.  In addition, follow us on Facebook for last-minute information.

Note: EVERY library is open to ANYone, not just the town residents.  Only one or two libraries give residents first shot before opening to everyone else.  If any of the library programs requiring registration are full, be sure to utilize their waiting list.  Openings pop up frequently, so enjoy those great programs with your children when you can!
