Dutchess is a senior female German Shorthaired Pointer at the Putnam Humane Society in Carmel, NY. The Vet estimates that she is between 8 and 10 years old. She's quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite because of her sweet and gentle nature. Dutchess was found on the side of I-84 in pain and needing medical care. She's had her surgery and the staff made sure she had lots of love to help her recover. She's now healthy and ready to find a family to cherish her forever. Come and meet Dutchess and the other dogs at PHS from 10-3 daily. Cat lovers can visit with the kittens and cats from 10-4:15 daily. The shelter is located at 68 Old Route 6 in Carmel, NY.
