Walkway Over the Hudson is teaming up with the City of Poughkeepsie and local businesses to present yet another incredible 4th of July Firework display on the Hudson River There is no better place to watch fireworks than from the Walkway!
The Walkway will open to ticket holders at 630PM so bring your chairs, flashlights, snacks and make an evening of it! Fireworks will start between 9PM and 930PM.
Inclement weather postponement will be announced on Walkway.org and Walkway Over the Hudson’s Facebook page.
Event Information: Walkway State Historic park will close at 530PM to the general public and reopen for the event at 630PM.
YOU WILL NEED A WRISTBAND TO BE ADMITTED
Gates will close 60 minutes after the fireworks have finished. Seating may be set up on the south side of the Walkway in designated viewing sections only. Please bring a flashlight to help you leave the event.
Bathrooms and vendors are located on the approaches to the event.
Dogs and bicycles will not be allowed on the Walkway.
No Skates, skateboards or firearms.
The Walkway is a smoke and alcohol free park.

PARKING
Please be considerate of neighbors of the Walkway. To avoid fines, please obey all posted parking laws. It is recommended that you bring a flashlight to help you return to your vehicle. We also ask for your cooperation when leaving the event. There will be congested areas due to the volume of cars.
Parking is available on the West Approach at the following locations:
ALL TOWN OF LLOYD PARKING RULES ARE IN EFFECT
NYS Parks – 87 Haviland Rd.,Haviland, NY 12528* Only the left side of Haviland Rd.*
Hudson Valley Rail Trail – 75 Haviland Rd., Highland, NY 12528
*Once parking is maximum capacity, Haviland Road will be closed to all through traffic.
