Event: Dickens's 'Christmas Carol,'

November 29, 2016
Dramatic performances of Dickens’s ‘Christmas Carol’ will take place on December weekends at the historic Reformed Church of the Tarrytowns.

Complete with musical accompaniment, master storyteller Jonathan Kruk brings to life the classic Charles Dickens story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future in this Historic Hudson Valley production. Performances take place on Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 10-11 and 17-18, at 4, 5:15, and 6:30pm.

Historic Hudson Valley adds to the seasonal festivities with its Holiday Gift Shop at Philipsburg Manor. Shop local and support educational programs by checking off your gift list at the store, which is stocked with Hudson Valley-inspired and holiday-themed merchandise. Locally made honey, books about the Hudson Valley, winter solstice-scented candles, and regional artists’ wares are just some of the locally created gift ideas filling the shelves.
