Thanksgiving weekend is ‘Holiday Premiere’ at Washington Irving’s Sunnyside, Friday-Sunday, Nov. 23-25, 10-4pm each day. The romantic homestead ofAmerica’s “Founding Father of Literature” is fully decorated for the holidays in authentic period style. Costumed guides present tours that focus on historic traditions of the winter holidays. Hands-on workshops for children add holiday cheer to the festivities. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $6 for children 3-17, and free for children under 3 and forHistoricHudsonValleymembers. Sunnyside is at the end ofWest Sunnyside LaneinTarrytown.
