Childhood Cancer Research Gets Help from

TLC Foundation with Unique Fundraiser

May 14, 2013

Many of our readers fell in love with toddler Ty Louis Campbell, following his family’s blog closely throughout Ty’s cancer treatment and collectively praying together at his young passing last October.  We are now coming together again to help support the Ty Louis Campbell (TLC) Foundation, founded by Ty's family.  The Foundation funds innovative research and clinical trials specifically geared toward the treatment of the deadliest childhood cancers (including brain and spinal cord tumors). The organization seeks less toxic, more effective treatments that are specifically designed for children fighting cancer.

The Foundation, in partnership with Be Your Own You (BYOU), has created Signature Series designs to benefit Childhood Cancer Research.  BYOU is a lifestyle brand designed to build the self-esteem of children and women.  The “Signature Series” apparel designs will be sold for 2 weeks at www.BeYourOwnYou.org (May 9 – May 23).

In honor of their son, Ty, who fell to cancer at the age of 5, every Signature Series item sold will result in $7.00 donation to the Foundation.

Items include:  t-shirts, sweat pants, and sweatshirts.  The B-A Puddle Jumper and Super Ty designs are meant to remind parents to "let your kids jump in puddles" because soon they'll be all grown up and will see the dirty clothes and wet shoes as nothing but a nuisance.  In addition, they bear the tagline that “Kids Get Cancer too" in order to raise awareness for the cause.

Please help us in supporting a great organization.  Designs are available at  www.BeYourOwnYou.org
