Featured Pet: Macaroni's Recovered and Needs Love

September 16, 2014

Macaroni was a very frightened boy found with a terribly injured front leg that needed to be amputated.  He had a long recovery during which the staff and volunteers slowly earned his trust.  He's doing great now and gets along just fine on 3 legs.  This beautiful long haired boy just loves treats and will rub against you for some loving.  He still gets a little scared sometimes, so a calm home would make Macaroni very happy.  Come and meet this special boy at the Putnam Humane Society, we're open every day from 10-4:30.  The shelter is located at 68 Old Route 6; Carmel, NY.  (845) 225-7777.
