This Week's Welcome

February 24, 2015

Sean's eye is continuing to heal, but it still has a ways to go.  We helped to divert his attention by attending the Ringling Bros. Circus in Brooklyn on Thursday....yes, that would be the day it was -25 to -30 outside with windchill.  Thankfully we parked directly outside the center, and we walked only a few steps outside.  This was my favorite Ringling Bros. yet, so I do recommend going, but perhaps to one of the other venues.  The Brooklyn traffic was a bit difficult for this mama, but others familiar with the area may not be so concerned.

Saturday we had the Macaroni Kid Baby Brunch.  Although I try hard to avoid pubic speaking at all costs, Saturday went pretty well :).  Lots of moms went home with lots of free stuff, including a wonderful stroller, diapers, wipes, lotions, an awesome bag from Carmel Nursery School, and more.  Plus the moms that arrived early got some REALLY cute shots of their children with Lollipop Woods Photography...seriously adorable shots.  You can check out our Facebook page for photos from the event.

At the Brunch, and on Facebook, I announced the current offer to purchase Jumpin' Jeepers in Mahopac.  If this is of interest to you, please check out the Facebook post from last Saturday and send an inquiry to me or directly Jumpin' Jeeper's email.

Have a warm and safe week in Putnam County!

Small Print: We do our best to have up-do-date and accurate information.  However, we highly recommend you contact the venue prior to departure to ensure the event is happening as originally scheduled.  In addition, follow us on Facebook for last-minute information.

Note: EVERY library is open to ANYone, not just the town residents.  Only one or two libraries give residents first shot before opening to everyone else.  If any of the library programs requiring registration are full, be sure to utilize their waiting list.  Openings pop up frequently, so enjoy those great programs with your children when you can!
