I was given the opportunity to review the 3D Flip Convenience Stroller by Summer Infant for the #MKBabyBrunch, which was subsequently given away at the Macaroni Kid Brunch.  It was an amazing stroller, retail value of about $129 (though I’ve seen it for less online), and it’s something I would have really love with the first child.

There are TWO sides to this stroller (and what received the oohs and ahhs of the moms at the brunch).  One side will fit even my 5yo.  You then easily move the backrest of stroller to the other side, and this side is for the baby.  The baby can be easily seen, as s/he is facing you, or if you have the almost fully covered hood on, you can see through a peek-window.  The baby side also has a pillow rest, perfect for keeping the baby’s head in position.  Since the backside can be flipped to either side, it can also be adjusted to full layback position, a 90 degree tilt, or anything in-between.  Please note that larger children should remain on the big-kid side only.  If they crawl onto the baby side, the weight will cause the stroller to tip backwards.

The basket underneath is small, but sufficient to carry diapers, wipes, and the immediate needs of mom while out.  If you’re a crazy first time mom, like I was, where you’re bringing 20 diapers, 1000 wipes, and 10 toys for ONE HOUR out of the house (I’m not joking, I did this, and asked my husband if I had enough), then maybe the underside isn’t quite big enough.  For normal moms, though, you’ll be just fine.  You can access it through a hidden panel under the seat or through the side of the basket.

There are also side pockets to drop your keys and phone in, which I love, plus a cup holder for your drink.  Obviously there are breaks for the wheels, one for each wheel, and I found the stroller easy to maneuver with even just one hand (a big plus). I was able to easy collapse and open up the stroller, with the near-simplicity of an umbrella stroller.  It also includes a shoulder strap to carry the stroller.  This I found a bit cumbersome to use, but since I never, ever have had a need to cart around item in this manner, it’s a non-issue.

I would definitely recommend this stroller.  You can find additional information at
