The second week of school was another successful one.  It's amazing to see how much he's learned in such a short time period, and it solidifies my thoughts that my son needs more than home schooling.  Home schooling is something I toyed with before having a second child, but regardless I have confirmed it would have been the wrong decision for my family.  Teachers have their expertise for a reason...I may know my child better, but they know the topics my kid is ready for and how to continue challenging him.  I couldn't be happier with Mizzentop.

I also went on a couple fantastic MNOs, including meeting Patty Lennon of Mom Gets a Life.  Whether you're a mom that's struggling with how to juggle home and work, or a mom that feels she has a good handle on things but would love more efficient ideas, Patty Lennon is the mom for you.  Be sure to check out her website.

And lastly I was *FINALLY* able to meet Noreen Mahoney, local Improv leader and instructor at her Improv night.  Her Improv show had me in stitches...they did a fabulous job.  It's very nice to know such a great woman is available in our community.  She offers improv lessons to both adults and to teenagers.  We highly recommend her.  Click here for more information.

I'm not entirely sure how this newsletter exploded into such a jam packed edition, but it did!  Enjoy!
